All certified organic ingredients: St Marys Thistle, Dandelion root, Nettle leaf, Red Clover, Heather, Hibiscus.
Serving Suggestion: 1 teaspoon per person. Ideal temperature for herbal tea brewing is between 80-85 °C. Steep for 3-4 minutes for full flavour to develop. This tea can be served hot or cold as preferred.

Detox Tea
Detox tea is a traditional cleansing herbal blend used to detox and cleanse the major organs of the body. Herbs support the digestive tract, liver and kidney cleansing and skin clearing.
Herbal Properties
A major liver protection herb, St Marys Thistle has strong antioxidant effects, is used to assist bile flow, can be used for fatty liver and has a restorative action on liver cells. Dandelion root’s works well to restore liver function, stimulates appetite and is beneficial for chronic skin disorders and rheumatism. As a replacement for coffee, dandelion imparts a mild, nutty flavour. Nettle leaf is used for allergy type reactions within the body particularly of the skin and acidic conditions (ie. Rheumatoid arthritis and rhinitis). Red Clover is traditionally used as a ‘spring tonic’ and detox tea due its action on clearing skin eruptions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis. It must be used with caution during pregnancy and lactation. Heather Flowers provide a mildly diuretic action, clearing and cleaning out of the kidneys. It also adds a calming quality. As free radicals are released during detoxification processes Hibiscus which is high in Vitamin C, provides a mopping up action due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties
